August Tree: Vine

Hey Reader,

In the Celtic Ogam (the Irish tree language), the vine is in its time. Ogam is a bit like the astrological calendar but with earth-based trees instead of faraway planets.

Before you start reading - I would like to wish you Lunasagh blessings! August 1st marks the beginning of the Lunasagh festival, it's a cross quarter festival on the Celtic Wheel of the Year. A time for reaping what you've sown over the last few seasons.

Abundant blessings upon you, my friend!!

Time to slow down and enjoy life.

The wisdom of energetic vine for these Earthly times is - to put it politely - RELAX.

TAKE A BREATHER.

SWAY ON YOUR HAMMOCK.

DANCE ALL DAY (IF YOU WANNA).

FALL ASLEEP MID-DAY (IF YOU WANNA).

I don't know how else to share... not sure if it's because I'm a Leo or what... but I'm really good at this. So if you need a celebration buddy, get at me this season!!!!!

Ah, we are moving into the harvest seasons. It's been a bit of a weird summer weather wise. So please enjoy yourself while you still have what's left.

Take a chapter out of my Leo book and laze in the summer haze.

Yes, I know what you're thinking... please don't say that summer is almost gone Frankie...

Well... if you needed a reminder to sit back and enjoy what's left of summer while you can, I reckon here's a good place to start.

EAT A PLUM.

LET THE JUICE FALL DOWN YOUR CHIN.

As a Leo, I tend to get too into summer. I love it so much. Somehow many people in my life are heat-haters (LOL)... if I could stay out all day in the sun I would. But yes, we all need to remind ourselves that we still need time in the shade -- rootedness -- or else the sun's energy takes us too high.

This season, for me, feels a lot like going to a party where you actually know all the groups of people in attendance, but they don't know each other.

There's opportunity here!!

The opportunity is for you to introduce friends to friends.

To host. To gather.

To share the good things in life with people you don't know.

To be the conduit.

To step into abundance.

Don't know how to step into abundance?

Here's an abundance affirmation for you that may help:

Dear Mother Earth -- let me meet you.

Let me feel your gentle breeze

and your heavy branches

Lay your fruit on me

until my mouth waters at the smell of you

the freshness of you

the love in your seeds

Let me and all my friends drink ourselves into you.
